"not really the worlds local bank"
HSBC is not the worlds local bank. It is inaccessible. My local branch has refused to discuss financial matters with me and the other departments of the bank do not respond properly to written complaints. They are arrogant, rude, do not record telephone calls accurately and do not keep to their agreements.

I swiched to HSBC from my former bank about 2 years ago and I haven had any problem with them whatsoever, great customer service and a personal adviser. Top class

The servie was quick and friendly however the queue was often long and only one member of staff when you are there at peak times
