"Lloyds TSB Mastercard"
I have had appalling problems with Lloyds TSB. Here is a classic case of the right hand not knowing what the left is doing. One department acknowledges that the debt management arrangement is in place while another claims no knowledge of it. Even when you phone, their records are not up to date. Considering the extortionate interest they charge, you would think they could afford better internal communications and training in customer relations. Now whenever I hear that irritating tune in their TV commercials, I feel like screaming.

Lloyds Bank now have an appallingly bad complaints procedure - customers service is open 24 hours, but would not discuss my complaint, only forward it on; and the "Customer Service Recovery" department, where the complaint was sent to is only open Mon-Fri 9-5 - tricky to contact for those of us who work those hours - and won't discuss complaints either! They do claim to "investigate" them however. In my case the "investigation" took less than a day; and the resulting letter (which unsurprisingly found in favour of the bank) had all the appearance of a cut-and-paste from a stock reply drafted by someone in marketing. Very disappointing.
I would have previously recommended Lloyds TSB in the past as a credit-card supplier, but not now.

Calls came from overseas call centres, and were very faint. Very persistent (understandable, as I owed them a fair bit of money), but could only seem to see the possible alternatives being making either an immediate debit card payment, or setting up a direct debit.
"The Customer is always wrong......"
I have been a customer with Lloyds TSB, holding 3 different accounts, for almost 20 years. The service I receive today is sub-standard at best, shoody & careless at worst. I have had FOUR different "Relationship Managers" in the past 3 years. I dont even know the name of the current one. I am fast becoming tired of being treated badly by Lloyds, with unfair charges, lack of benefits and an all round lack of service for loyal, long standing customers. I do not doubt that I will be moving my accounts in the next year or so, unless something drastic takes place to reassure me that Lloyds is ... moreindeed a financial institution that respects its customers. It used to be....it is such a shame that in the rush to join the technological age and make everything automated, they have lost the human touch that is so important with customers
