"WOULD NOT RECOMMEND"
Terrible at sorting out problems - never spoke to the same member of staff at the call centre twice despite asking to. No one seemed to be keeping an accurate record of the problem and had to explain again every time I called. Staff at Nationwide branch told me they couldn't do anything either as all they could do was phone the call centre on my behalf - which they did try to do but to no avail. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Nationwide credit cards are truly ideal for not only everyday spending, but also for paying balance transfers from any corners of the world at ease.
"Get it for going abroad"
Excellent customer service and the Nationwide Classic Card saves us a fortune as we live abroad and make use this credit card for our main monthly purchases (food, petrol etc). They charge no transaction fees and their exchange rates are excellent. We have compared them to around 10 (yes, 10!) other credit cards we had/have and in every case they outshine the rest by a long way for their costs of foreign transactions. Thoroughly recommended for your foreign travel or living.
We had problems with security on the internet account (caused by phishing emails) and the Nationwide staff were so helpful and polite in their response and actually phoned back on 3 occasions at the times agreed. Not many other organisations aspire to please as much as Nationwide staff seem to.
