To apply, you will need to complete the short application form on their website - this will ask you what items you wish to lend against and the estimated value. They will give you a reference number which you need to keep hold of and they will send you an email to confirm your application - check your Spam/Junk mail if it doesn't go into your Inbox. You then need to send your valuables to them via an insured courier service (that borro pays for). If you accept their online contract, the money will be in your account within 24 hours. After paying the loan back, your valuables will be returned within 24 hours via the same delivery method you sent them.

Pleasant friendly staff. Rates were good and I got my loan really quickly. They didn't credit check me which was great as I have been refused a loan in the past. I thought it would take a while to get my jewellery back but I got it back in 24 hours. Unbelievable really. Borro does at it says on the tin.

I went into their london office with my jewellery, the staff were very friendly and explained everything very thoroughly. I felt very satisfied that my jewellery would be looked after. I got my money transferred into my account on the same day. Would definately use borro again.

Cash arrived fast but once settled try and get your goods back in 24 hours :-( been told over a week to wait for over of £3000 worth of stuff. They use the excuse of waiting for the safe to open. If you want your goods back dont pay anything or even send anything until you have something in writing otherwise you will end up lending to borro without earning a penny and be put off on the phone with excuses. BE WARNED !!!!!

Very good loan values against assets. Got money in 48 hours from application, would have liked some more information but the sales people were very good tbh. Loaned against a watch. BTW no credit checks were done I dont think, as secured against the watch.

The people from Borro.com were very friendly and I would definitely use the service again. The high street shops want too much information from you and the interest rates are too high! I was also sent regular reminders from Borro.com about when my loan was ending which I found very helpful!

Borro.com’s service was outstanding from start to finish. From the friendly telephone service to the high value they offered me against my jewellery, I couldn’t fault them. I told a couple of friends what I had done and they looked extremely surprised – but they all have a massive amount of debt, largely on credit cards that they just carry on paying with no end in sight.

When I took out a loan with Borro, I got my cash very quickly. But, when I settled and tried to get my £3000 worth of goods back, they seemed to be stalling. I had to wait over a week! I wouldn't pay or even send anything until you have something in writing.
