Cash Choice
Good:
Up to £400 in your account if you apply before 3pm
Bad:
Difficult to get through to their call centre to speak with someone - can also take a long time to hear if you're accepted or not
Verdict:
Loan is more expensive because of the £5 arrangement fee, poor customer service having to wait up to a week for a decision and their website can be difficult to use - only apply if you are sure you can repay it when you say you will
Cash Choice offer payday loans between £200 - £400 for a term of 30 days. You can receive your money on the same day if you apply before 3pm between Monday and Friday.
You can apply online or over the phone with Cash Choice. If you apply online, you first need to open an account with them so they can be certain you haven't previously applied for a loan with them. Once you have completed the online application form, they will give you an instant decision. Your application will then be passed on for further review. They will contact you with their final decision. Customers have on occasion been asked to fax extra documentation although this tends to be the exception rather than the rule and will depend on your individual application. Once they have checked all of your details, the money can be transferred into your account.
They charge £25 per £100 you borrow a month, making Cash Choice one of the cheaper options on the payday market. There are administration fees to pay - £1 per loan and £5 if you are a new customer. Their speed to payout seems to be fairly good with funds being made available to you on the same day. However, there have been reports that customer service is poor with a few applications actually going missing or some applicants not receiving a response for up to a week after making the initial application. Problems have also been reported on how difficult the website is to use. We would only recommend this as a last resort as there are cheaper and better known lenders out there. Only apply for a payday loan if you are certain you can pay it back on your next payday because you could end up owing a lot more than you should.
borrowed £400 in nov 2011 and have even tried to take the money back , and tried to contact them email failed says mailfolder full , they have so far taken £600 and still taking money off me dont know how to stop them . help any one give advice have made a complint loanfinders waiting for the results . dont even bother with these cheating robbing swines .
Beware, these guys are con artists, they do not claim the full amount back and you end up repaying a long term loan at massive interest. I complained, as it is in breach of their contract. They just laughed and said "write to us*. No response of course. Now going to Financial Ombudsman like Chris,. Avoid, much better payday loan providers out there.
Same as above ther are now called uk lenders alliance aswell they never take the full money on purpose so they can charge extra. CON ARTISTS AND CROOKS
had exact same problem as chirs from london, thought i had paid the loan off on my next pay day but looked an they only took part payment, so i rang them up the next day an they said i had agreed to a rolling month by month payment plan which is a load of rubbish, he said he would change it so my next pay day the full amount would go out and suprise suprise 4 weeks later only part payment went out, rang up again to complain an they said theres nothing then can do apart from pay it there an then which i had to do, but it cost me an arm an leg. This company is by far the worse ive ever dealt with, please avoid
I took loan loan with this company and had nothing but issues from day one. borrowed £200 and agreed to pay back on my next paydate however on my pay date they had only taken part payment.. didnt realise this for a few weeks as thought everything had been paid... I was then given some big speel about some sort of monthly repayment plan which i never agreed. I have shown my contract to a specialis and have been advised to report them to the Financial Ombudsman so would suggest you do the same! http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm Hope this helps, I will update you with the outcome of my complaint when I find out what stages to take next.

I have massive problems with that company. apparently i owe them 355 pounds when i know i had money in my bank they didnt took the money on the repayment date. Now i got told its going through to debt collector which im not worry about as i know that they cant do very much but im sure i will get a better agreement with them who actually will listen to what i have to say. I dont even have my contract they never sened me it and i cant even logging on my account which is stupid. stay away its not worth the hassle if you need money go to your friends. plus adding all the problems im overdrawn with my account and also heart problems from the stress.
I Had A loan From Them They Took Out To Much Money From My Account They Are Big Fraud They Put Me On Over Draft Only Left £5 To Live WHole Month I Owe Them £117 Took £375 From My Account Is THere Somebody ?Who Can Close Them Down ..........Just Stay Away STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY AWAY From WWW.CASHCHOICE.CO.UK SAVE YOUR SELF TO BECOME A VICTOM LIKE ME.
Please please please stay away from this company. A small £200 loan I take out with them has become a logistical nightmare. I had repaid the loan in full £250 including interest but they took another £220 out. They repaid the £220 but my loan account still showed that I owed £125.00?? I then had an amount of £320 paid into my account which I didn't request! I have faxed them and telephoned so many times to ask them to take the £320 back I have lost count. I speak to a different person everytime who agrees with me then promptly does nothing about it. I am now getting texts saying my 'loan' of £125 has been repaid in full although I haven't had the money taken from my account and it's the wrong amount anyway. I have had to contact the debit card fraud department of my bank as they have now got my debit card details and can put money in and out at their leisure. My bank have cancelled my debit card in order to prevent them doing this at great inconvenience to me but it's worth it if these idiots can't mess with my account. I have written to report them to the Office of Fair trading and have notified them that my account card has been cancelled. The balls in their court but I won't hold my breath on an immediate response. Stay away like the plague. Other companies are so much more professional...Payday Uk and Moneyshop.....
i have vevery bad experience with them as well i took a loan of 300 pounds with them when my payday loan was due they didnt took out money from my bank i was very surpreised why they didnt taken out money i own them same day i called them a wh++e hired by cash choice picked up phone and said to me your payment was retuernd by your bank coz u have not enough money but it was wrong they was doing fraud to con me to take more money from my account the who++e said to me who was on phone u have to pay 75 pound intrest and then again u have to pay 375 so u r loan can bhi cleared i said i have enoughf money in my bank account its u r fault but she was not convinced i said to her let me call my bank and let me check if u have request for money or not then i call u back i called my bank they said they didint request any money from us they r lying with u they say when they ask any payment online we always give authoristion code so they havent asked any paymnet from your account and if they say u again that we have claimed funds from your bank and bank has turned us down let us know so we will deal with this further so i called the bit+h aagain and told her same what my bank told me and she was not expecting this i can go that far away soo just turned from there and said ogg sorry sir its might our system fault please pay only 375 now to clear the loan then she took out 375 and setteld my account . this is big fraud and con compny ANYBODY CAN TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPNY I M WITH YOU AS A VICTEM I M WITH U TO SUPOORT YOU GO AHEAD AND SUE THEM MY EMAIL CH.WASEEM@YAHOO.COM.
took a loan from these muppets 400 quid was advised it would be more affordable to take over 10 months now find im paying 1400 quid back for it no mention i would only pay 10% of loan and rest intrest i expected it to be high but not that high rang to repay early to escape the muppets and they want the full 400 back so thats 270 quid interest for 2 month AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
Does anyone know how i can report a payday lender? I took a payday loan as i was travelling to london and needed a little extra till payday. Got the loan ok but the lender ( not sure if i can name them ) took the full amount from my bank account a full week before my paydate!!! This in turn has left me with bank charges because im now over my limit. They arent answering my emails now so i want to report them as they advertised "payday" loans but take the money when they feel like it. If it was the other way around and i didnt pay them back or answer any emails they sent me im sure they wouldnt just let it drop. If i could name them and warn people of this awfull lender i woluld. These company are preying on the people that can only live month to month.
I wish i never used this totally USELESS company! Took a "payday" loan with this mob which obviousley i took because i needed a litte extra this month. They have took the full amount out of my bank a full week before my paydate causing my bank to charge me fees now!?!?! I am completely angered with this utterly incompetant company. I am just posting this to warn people DO NOT USE CASH CHOICE! please just use a decent company like payday uk or lending stream they are much better and really are payday loans not a week before my paydate loans.
Flaming useless company! I took out a small loan with them, they deducted £15 from it for express payout which I never agreed to. I have had to email them to find out when my repayments are due and how much they are as they have given me no details at all. I have read everything they have sent and checked all of my spam folders and there were no details at all in there neither. They take a long time to reply to emails. Also since speaking to them my spam emails have increased dramatically and they call mobiles while you are at work to try to get you to increase your loans quite often. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!
I used this company for a short term loan and ensured I read the Terms and Conditions and the payment term and penalties. They helped me with a small loan, which I have now repayed and I have to say I was very impressed with their customer service, who supported me through the online application. Like anything, just make sure you read the label!
After borrowing £200 on the 22nd of july, they sent me my agreement by email which said they will take the full amount of £250 on the 5th of september, which was my next pay day. I then yesterday checked my account online an they had only taken £65, it was too late to call them so i had a look at reviews for this company and there was alot of bad ones about money being taken out of your account which wasnt agreed. I then went back on my banking an realised they had taken £70 out on the 8th of august as well as 65 yesterday, i rang them today complaining, they had said i agreed to a rolling month by month contract an this was the interest ive occured, i was never told on the phone this was going to happen and ive even got the agreement they sent me which clearly states £250 to be paid on the 5th of september. I argued with the manager and he basically didnt care and said we wouldnt of put the money in if you hadnt agreed. In the end ive had to pay 200 today so in total that is 335 which is a joke. My advise would be to use a decent company like wonga were you dont get conned like i have.
I took out a pay day loan with this company for Christmas, I made sure the money was there to pay it back on my next payday in January next thing I know they did not take the full amount and are taking £110 a month and I still owe the same amount I borrowed. Its shocking i have asked for a copy of my contract but whos to say its the truth when its all done online. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY.
i HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS COMPANY OR EVER APPLIED FOR ANY LOANS WITH THEM OR ANY OTHER COMPANY BUT SOMEHOW THEY MANAGED TO GET MY CARD DETAILS AND TAKE £105 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT THEY ARE JUST ROBBING ***** I DO NOT RATE THESE **** ***** BUT YOU HAVE TO IN ORDER TO SUBMIT A REVIEW
this is a really good sight id advise everyone well not everyone jus people in a finacial struggle like i am atm really good
I have a payday loan with these guys, after much messing around with them not taking the money out of my account when supposed too I have now built up interest of £112! £75 of which they took out of my account on which they weren't supposed to. After calling them to rearranged a refund, it's now days later and have still not received this money back, being left with nothing for me and my daughter! This company is a complete sham!! I want my money!
Website is a nightmare, my details didn't go in correctly after I hit return, they had to contact their It department which is in America, were meant to get back to me, despite numerous calls/messages they didn't call back, wondering what they are all about. very frustrated
I took a loan out for £400, with £100 interest which is to be taken on the 12th October. But they took the money out early. £100 was taken from our account, I telephoned them, and they said I agreed the 29th to take the money for the interest. Now they have announced we need to pay another £100 on top of the £400 so that £600 in total. Going to get advice from Citizens Advice Bureau today. Sound to me as I'm not the only one with problems with this company.
