Handy Cash
Good:
They will lend to you even if you have bad credit
Bad:
Borrowers have complained they completed the whole process (and sent in documents) only to get rejected
Verdict:
Handy Cash are not the worst payday lender on the market, they charge reasonable rates in comparison with others and they accept people with bad credit so it could be a chance to rebuild your credit by borrowing a small amount
Handy Cash will lend you between £100 and £750. You can defer the loan for up to one month although you will incur interest during this time. For a £100 loan over 1 month, you will pay back £125, so do not be put off by the really high APR.
You can apply online with Handy Cash or over the phone. If you apply online, you will need to complete the application form on their website. Once you have completed your application form, they will send you an email and a text message confirming they have received it. Follow the link in the email and input the 8 digit code from the text in their website. This will give you access to your electronic loan agreement which you will need to sign. You may need to provide them with some extra documentation. A £10 fee is charged if you want a same day payout otherwise it will take 3- 5 working days.
The APR is high, although not as high as some payday loans. As with most payday lenders you will need to make sure you can make the payment when you say you can or you will incur a lot of charges. Deferring the first month is an available option, which means that you pay interest only for the first month then the rest of the loan rolls over to next month. This does mean you will pay more in interest over the length of the loan.
Please be aware that Handy Cash acts as a lender but also acts as an affiliate. This means that when you complete your application form, they will tell you if they are able to offer you a loan. If they aren't, they may recommend another company to you. Do not feel as if you have to apply with the suggested company as this may further impact your credit file.
i will not use that company ever again they are a total scam and i regret ever having a loan from that company

There stupid! You get your hopes up and then the say your declined. And don't offer ant alternative loans.
I applied in the morning and had the funds in my account within a couple of hours at the most, application took me at most about 3 mins to fill not as bad as I thought and they got me out of a right jam, thanks to the speed I managed to avoid charges on other bills and still had some change left over to get the Mrs a ruby murray :P well impressed Cheers Handycash!
Applied and was told online they had approved my application and i could have the money i asked for. Done the forms online then waited for the funds. At the last minute got an email to say i am not accepted. Same thing happened when my wife applied. Do not get your hopes up like i did when they say yes because they do not mean it. I applied through their handy cash website
To increase the security levels, the website has a SSL Certificate. Thus you need not fear about any leak of your personal information. The company is also a member of CCA and thus is a trustworthy site to draw loans from. I feel the overall service was good but am certain there are better deals out there.
The charges are easy to understand and clear. The APR is huge but the website provides the necessary information about what APR really means and why you need not panic at the first sight. There are no other hidden charges applicable but the website states that it has the right to charge the fees if a customer defaults his/her payment without valid reasons.
