One of the more recommended payday lenders, known for their polite service, quick approval, fast payout and they can even accept people with adverse credit - don't apply if at risk of losing your income as they may be inflexible with repayment
Lending Stream respond to your needs, by getting you the money same-day. They can help you by lending up to £600 if you are a first-time customer. Regular customers can take out up to £720. They offer their loans over either 4, 5 or 6 months so you can spread the loan out over a longer time. Be aware the longer you have the longer for, the more it is going to cost you.
You can apply online at Lending Stream or over the phone. To apply online, just complete their really easy application form on their website. They will tell you straight away if you are declined. If you're not declined, they will contact you with a provisional decision. In some cases you may need to send documentation in to prove you can afford the loan, but this is only in select cases. If approved, you will have to complete an electronic agreement online with an electronic signature. A customer service representative will contact you after this and confirm some more details. If approved before 3pm on a working day, for £15 the funds can be transferred to your account on the same day. If you choose the normal BACS transfer, it can take about 3 working days to transfer.
The charge for credit will be either £20, £25 or £30 per £100 borrowed a month, depending on your individual application and Lending Stream's discretion. Things that will affect this will be your credit history, employment status and your credit score. Credit checks are performed for this loan so if you have poor credit then this may not be for you. Consider your options if you feel that you may not be so good at paying things back on time as being put into their collections processes will also lead to a £40 charge being added. If you think you're going to fall into trouble repaying them, just contact them to set up a payment plan. They can temporarily freeze the interest and you make small monthly payments. There are no express cash transfers over the weekend.

However, none of the other providers that I have used Wonga, Quick Quid or Pay Day UK charge for a same day transfer. The fact that they then add the £15 to your loan agreement and then change interest on this also is pretty bad pactice. Also don't be fooled by the paying over 4-6 months option, this is not for your convinience, this is a clever ploy to drag as much interest out of you as is humanly possible over the period that you owe them money. I have taken out a £115 loan (£100 + £15 for "fast" payment - rediculous.....) According to their "easy payment scheme" i will be paying this back to a total of £240..... i plan on settling early to a cost of £149.50 ONE MONTH after taking the funds..... I am glad i only took £100 from them as the interest on these guys is stupidly high. I wont be using again once i clear this. Stick to Payday UK or WONGA if you have to. Call up and pay in one or two installments before going on a web site and saying they took too much money by doing it over 6 months! Er... I think you'll find its up to you how many months you spread the payments over. Read the small print and set payment reminders on your phone or calendar. It'll save you in the end. I think you'll find its up to you how many months you spread the payments over. Read the small print and set payment reminders on your phone or calendar. It'll save you in the end. Charge you £15 for express cash which they do not tell you about until the end. I would imagine 90% of people want express cash so take the charge. They took the money out of my account twice on one repayment. The money is fast and service is OK however the company needs to be more transparent and should give its clients more confidence.

The decision was very quick as I desperately needed the money in a hurry, but the express tranfer charge, which I had to accept, was far too high! I don't think many other lenders of this type charge as much especially with the highest APR around. I then discovered that despite paying for it, I was not getting an express payment. What a rip off!!! wont be going back to them ever!

The only annoying part was that I was redirected to Lending Stream after I have already entered all of my details previously only to have to input them again. Yawn ! Speed to pay out received 3 stars as I feel that a transfer fee is a little harsh when immediate funds are required in difficult circumstances. Perhaps a refund should be made available of this fee if full payment of the loan has occurred early. Just a thought :)

The fact you can pay this loan over a 6 months period really helps. I will definitely carry on using Lending Stream when I need that "little bit extra for emergencies".

After involving the ombudsman (which I recommend you all complaint too - although they have backlogs - they levy a fee of £500 on the company - Lending Stream), these useless incompetents offered to accept the initial amount. Guess what? They didn't take it. Again complained to the Financial Ombudsman, they eventually collected the right amount at the 3rd attempt with no apology. My partner was informed he'd took out a loan a month after the event when he has never done such a thing - they didn't have his bank account details because he didn't apply for it someone else in the country has taken this money - however they have found my bank details as I live at the same address and so far taken out £360 from my account despite telling them a month ago that it was identity theft and we reported it to the police. Its now been investigated with my bank. They are also the same company as Capital Finance One. We have never taken out a loan with anyone thankfully we don't need to - this is a random attack of identity theft and the company concerned have done nothing to trace where they actually put the money they lent out.

PLEASE DON'T USE COMPANIES LIKE THIS.

VERY BAD!!!! Have completly repaid my loan but twice they have debitted further money from my account!! Will not respond to emails/letters. Going to ring them now to get the money refunded AGAIN!!!! Terrible company- do not have a clue what they are doing!! Do not use them you will regret., You think it is all paid and sorted out but then randomly they debit money. To be honest i took out the loan and after completing the application was worried when i came across this website and the large number of negative reviews. however after about 1 hour of thinking i had just been scammed i checked my online bank account and the money was in there which is good news and quite a relief. it wast the smoothest process in the world due to having to email print screen bank statements but the customer service people i talked to (Mark) was really helpful and guided me through what to do. I think in the past this company has had a pretty rough rap but they seem to have ironed out the creases with the customer service and payment issues and i thought they were really good and would recommend them (maybe i was just lucky but i will use them again) Payback price is only issue but if your on a good wage you can afford to use these guys.

Utter clowns. They know my salary goes into my bank at 8am every Friday morning so guess what? They decide to time the debits from my account at 5am. Thats convenient... Easy way to say "sir we couldnt take payment so now there is a £40 charge" What business or company makes a direct debit at 5am? Come on. This is intentional. I wont be using or recommending this company to anyone again. As for instant transfers??? i paid £15 for an instant transfer on a wednesday and still didnt get my money until Friday. I dont think so.

I changed my debit card, removed all standing orders and direct debit instructions and they are still able to debit money from my account without my authority because all they need is your account number and sort code. I have spent hours on the phone to my bank and was told its out of my and barclays control because they have my account number and sort code... So basically if they decide to rip you off, then you have no control over your own finances... They also took £15 from me to have the money paid into my account within 1 hour and guess what? the money was deposited 2 days later! Absolute con. Do not give these people a chance and find a different provider. They really are NOT honest.

They actually give the loan amount you ask for. Their website is good with loads of information. The customer service lady I spoke to was very courteous. Unfortunately the interest rate is still high at 25% a month. Overall I was really happy because I got the £320 I asked for.
