Scotcash
Good:
Can lend to people with bad credit as they assess each application separately
Bad:
You can only apply if you live in Glasgow and you must attend a meeting about the loan first
Verdict:
Scotcash is there to help the people of Glasgow - you have an hour meeting so they work out how much you can borrow no matter what your circumstance
Scotcash are a Glasgow-based company that lend to help the people of Glasgow. You can borrow between £50 and £500 and they make their decision based on your current circumstance, not your past credit history so it doesn't matter if you have a bad credit history. Their APR is really low compared to other bad credit lenders so your total repayment will not be huge and they aim to have money in your bank account within 3 working days.
All you need to do is visit their office and speak with a loan adviser. You will have a small interview (but don't worry it's not extremely formal) where they will talk about your current income and expenditure. If you are employed, take pay slips and bank statements with you. If you are unemployed, take benefit letters with you or whatever proof you have of any income. No matter your employment status, make sure you take proof of ID so they can tell who you are and proof of address so they know where you are living. They will reach a decision there and then and if successful the money will be transferred into your account.
